People around the world are celebrating “World Book Day” today. It’s a day to share your love of reading, in any subject you prefer. Of course, while I do love Horror, I also read lots of non-fiction; historical books and biographies are among my favorites. Currently, I am too disorganized to share a photo of my own bookshelves at this time, but I’ll tell you some of my favorite horror novels:
- Psycho – Robert Bloch
- The Haunting of Hill House – Shirley Jackson
- Carrion Comfort – Dan Simmons
- Usher’s Passing – Robert McCammon
- The Exorcist – William Peter Blatty
- Something Wicked This Way Comes – Ray Bradbury
- The Call of Cthulhu – H.P. Lovecraft
- Fall of the House of Usher – Edgar Allan Poe
Harpies in the Trees on YouTube has a magnificent collection and bookshelf to visit – you won’t be disappointed.
